I got my walking cast on. I wasn't allowed to walk on it for 24 hours while is finished drying. So this morning I was able to get up and TRY walking. Needless to say it isn't very easy. I still have to use my crutches so I don't fall over and I'm not allowed to walk for very long. Also I was supposed to only have to wear the cast for 4 weeks but when I went in he told me it would now be 6 weeks. Of course he didn't tell me why he extended it by 2 weeks but he didn't much like all the bruising on my ankle. Oh well. So Christmas is almost here and everyone is asking in Germany, "WHERE IS THE SNOW!" My husband is from the south and has never had a white Christmas, will he have one this year? http://www.myspace.com/kendrajw

Hey everyone! I'm back, I got released from the hospital on Thursday and that is only because I complained enough that they let me go home. Going to a German hospital is a very hard experience. The doctors speak really good English and the nurses known very little and I mean very little. There were a few who knew English pretty well so soon they became my favorite nurses. The other nurses could only understand that when I said "PAIN" that I needed medication and that when I said "Toilet" that they needed to help me to the bathroom. Here in Germany they also don't heavily sedate you with medication. In fact I woke up from my surgery with no medication so in a few minutes I was screaming and crying... they rushed over to me really quickly and gave me something. At the hospitals they only give you enough medication that you can tolerate the pain. Who wants to tolerate pain? There is a lot more but I wont go on.... like the meals, I think I am 10 lbs lighter now. haha The surgery went well. The doctor said it was a very smooth operation. I get my stitches out on Friday and get a weight baring cast for four weeks after the stitches come out. The surgery I had down will take me a long time to recover. I wont be without some kind of thing on my foot until April or May. I don't care that it will take that long as long as the surgery turns out to be very helpful. I'm also looking forward to when I can use my foot again because crutches are not fun especially when you live on the 3rd floor!

Well no one probably reads my blog anymore but that's okay. Life just got real busy with work and everything plus a trip to the States. I was able to go back to the States for 2 weeks which was nice. I forgot how low to the ground the toilets are in the States. haha Monday I go into the hospital to have surgery so I wont be on here for another week but I just thought I would right on here real quick. For those of you who still read my blog I hope that you all are doing well!

I actually got out this last weekend! haha Friday night my hubby and I went to a birthday party. The party was fun for the most part. The restaurant had a live band so we had to scream to hear each other. Saturday was a girls night out. It was the first time I went out with the wives. We had a good time making fun of the people dancing. haha Monday I went back to work, same old thing. Waiting for the day when I truly enjoy my job so that it really isn't a job... you know what I mean?

Yesterday a group of us took a road trip to the Czech Republic. We got on the road an hour later than we had planned due to getting the GPS ready. The trip was going good. We spent most of the time up there talking or listening to music... just getting to know each other better. We stopped at McDonalds to have some lunch because we were starved and then got back on the road. 5 more KM to Cheb! Then the GSP took us the wrong way... it kept telling us to turn when there was no road to turn on. So we ventured out onto a road. About 2 minutes down the road we decide we should turn around and saw a place to do so. All of a sudden the tires weren't getting traction. So I tell everyone, "I'll get out and look." "Oh my goodness! STOP. Stop going backwards!!!!!!" We had a tire hanging in mid air! To my amazement they still didn't know what was going on. "Roll down your window!" "There is a tire hanging in mid air! What ever you do, don't roll back any further!" So two more of the girls got out the car and we decided we were going to try pushing it. "1, 2, 3.... HIT THE GAS!" To our amazement we got the car back on the road and the tire touching solid ground! In all the chaos we forgot we should of taken a picture but man we were proud of ourselves for being able to do it. Ten minutes later we got to the Cheb and had a good day shopping.
